Terms of Use

CONTENT

All content (videos, workbooks, written content, audio, and otherwise) is the sole property of Emily Jeffords. It was specifically designed for the MAKING art WORK Course and/or The COLLECTIVE Membership and/or The Pigment Lab and/or The Mastermind Programs, Retreats, and/or Coaching programs and may not be shared with outside parties. To do so will lead to removal from the course and possible further legal action.

ACCESS

MAKING art WORK may be offered with different access durations depending on the purchase option selected at checkout.

Three-Month Cohort Access:
Students who enroll in the Three-Month Cohort Experience will receive access to the course curriculum, live workshops, and community space for the duration of the cohort period only. (In 2026 that access period ends on June 30th 2026.) Access to course materials will expire at the end of the designated cohort window.

Two-Year Extended Access:
Students who purchase the Extended Access option will receive access to the course curriculum for a period of two (2) years from the date of graduation from the masterclass unless otherwise stated at the time of enrollment. (For 2026 full access participants, access will end on June 30th 2028).

Access to the course platform, community spaces, and all digital materials will automatically expire once the applicable access period ends.

Emily Jeffords Studio reserves the right to update, modify, or remove course materials during the access period as needed to maintain the quality and relevance of the program.

The Collective: Collective members have access to content for the duration of their subscriptions. If you cancel your membership, you relinquish your right to all content in the Kajabi platform and access to the live zoom meetings and private Facebook group.

Coaching Program: Coaching clients will have access to their materials including pre and post coaching resources and your session replay for 6 months after the purchase day. You will receive an email reminder to download your resources 1 month before the product is retired from your Kajabi library.

COACHING SERVICES

Emily Jeffords may offer both Small Group Coaching and One-on-One Coaching sessions. Coaching services are intended for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or therapeutic advice. Participation in coaching does not guarantee any specific business results, income level, or artistic success.

Clients are responsible for scheduling their coaching session(s) within the timeframe provided shortly after purchase.

If a client is unable to attend a scheduled coaching session, the following policies apply:

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited.

  • Missed sessions ("no-shows") are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.

For group coaching sessions, the schedule will be determined in advance and shared with participants. If a participant cannot attend a live session, recordings may be provided at the discretion of Emily Jeffords and her team. We will do our best to accommodate the schedules of all participants in each small group.

REFUND POLICY FOR ALL PROGRAMS

Because digital course materials, subscriptions, and coaching services provide immediate access to proprietary educational content, the following refund policies apply.

MAKING art WORK Masterclass: Students may request a refund within 14 days of the pre-determined Student Welcome Ceremony by contacting learn@emilyjeffords.com. After the 14-day period, all payments are non-refundable and students remain responsible for completing any remaining payments associated with a payment plan.

Please note: If you have printed out the 9 weeks’ worth of workbooks in advance by special request, you forfeit your right to a refund.

Please note: If you opted for a payment plan and you do not request a refund within the 14 day period and with the required coursework at the time of your refund request, you are required by law to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan.

MAKING art WORK Peer Groups: Peer Group members are not eligible for a refund. This space is what you make of it, and your effort is your reward. If you feel as though you would like to leave your peer group, please reach out to us at learn@emilyjeffords.com.

Coaching Services: All coaching purchases are considered final once the coaching session or program has begun. Refund requests made before any coaching session has occurred may be considered within 14 days of purchase at the sole discretion of Emily Jeffords. On the day of or any date after a coaching session has taken place, refunds will not be issued.

The Collective: You are free to leave the membership at any time. Members will have access to all content until deactivating your account (under Member Support in Kajabi). After that point, all access to the content and membership will be revoked. This is a digital membership and, similar to Amazon Prime or Netflix, you have full access to the services only while paying for them. We do not back-date refunds or offer multiple months worth of refunds.

Monthly subscribers, payment is auto-drafted from your account in a monthly cycle.

Quarterly subscribers, payment is auto-drafted from your account in a three month cycle.

Yearly subscribers, payment is auto-drafted every 12 months. In the case that you wish to cease your annual subscription, a prorated refund for the remaining months will not be offered.

For members with a quarterly or annual membership your cancellation will take effect before your next billing period and you will have access to all course materials up until that time. Again, we do not offer pro-rated refunds.

Retreats & Workshops: In the event that you are unable to attend a Retreat, Workshop, or in-person event hosted by Emily Jeffords, you remain responsible for the full payment and are not eligible for a refund.

Please note: If the retreat is at maximum capacity and there is a waitlist, you may transfer your spot to a student on the waitlist. Please be aware it will be entirely your responsibility to facilitate this transfer, in that you will be responsible for finding your replacement attendee, having them reimburse you for the cost of the retreat, and notifying our team of the change.

Mastermind: Once you have been accepted and paid for your spot in the MAW Mastermind, no refunds will be available to you. We will not be re-marketing this opportunity, so if you choose to opt out once you’ve paid, you forfeit your right to a refund. You will get out of this community and opportunity for growth what you put into it!

The Pigment Lab: In the event that you decide The Pigment Lab is not the right decision for you, you may request to withdraw from this course within 3 days of purchase (by the 3rd day at 11:59 EST). Please email learn@emilyjeffords.com with your request for a refund.

COURSEWORK

The booklets, workbooks, and worksheets included in the content are incredibly valuable to your success. Print them out and work through them but do not share them with another party. To do so is in clear violation of these terms and conditions. You may share your completed coursework with a trusted advisor or partner, but distributing course content is grounds for legal action.

You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site. This is in specific regard to Video content, which is not intended for download, screen recording, duplication, or use outside of the Kajabi platform. Doing so will lead to revocation of your access to the Kajabi platform and possible further legal action.

STUDENT CONTENT LICENSE

Students may choose to share artwork, images, written reflections, or other creative materials (“Student Content”) within course platforms, community spaces, live sessions, critiques, or coaching programs hosted by Emily Jeffords Studio. Students retain full ownership of their original creative work. However, by submitting or sharing Student Content within any Emily Jeffords Studio program, participants grant Emily Jeffords Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share that content for educational purposes within the program environment.

Student Content may appear within recorded coaching sessions, critiques, or workshops that are made available to other enrolled students. Emily Jeffords Studio will not use Student Content for external marketing or promotional purposes without the creator’s additional permission. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to share any content they upload or present within the program.

RECORDING AND USE OF ANY EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Live workshops, coaching calls, workshops, retreats, and events may be recorded for educational and archival purposes. By participating in these sessions, you acknowledge and agree that your participation, including audio, video, chat comments, or shared questions, may appear in recordings that are made available to other students enrolled in any of our programs, both present and future.

These recordings remain the intellectual property of Emily Jeffords Studio and may not be downloaded, reproduced, distributed, or shared outside the course platform without written permission. Participants who prefer not to appear in recordings may choose to keep their camera off and refrain from using identifying information when asking questions during live sessions.

If a participant does not wish for their contributions to be used in educational materials within or beyond the current program, they must notify Emily Jeffords Studio in writing prior to the live session (please email learn@emilyjeffords.com). While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests, Emily Jeffords Studio cannot guarantee removal of participation from recordings that have already occurred.

PROGRAM CHANGES

Emily Jeffords reserves the right to make adjustments to subscription and course structure, coaching schedules, program content, or delivery format at any time in order to maintain program quality.

ACCOUNT SECURITY

Your account is your own and may not be shared with another person (yep, that includes your friend or partner). This includes creating a duplicate account and accessing paid content with a discount code you have already used on your primary account.

Emily Jeffords Studio does not retain login information and might not be able to assist you in re-entering your account should you have trouble doing so. We are not privy to your sensitive login information for security reasons, though we are able to provide you a link to reset your Kajabi password should you forget it.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES & CONDUCT

Emily Jeffords Studio is committed to fostering a supportive, respectful learning environment for all artists and creatives regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, age, and so on. By participating in any of our programs or events, participants agree to engage respectfully with instructors, team members, and fellow students.

The following behaviors are not permitted within course platforms, community spaces, live sessions, or private messaging channels associated with Emily Jeffords Studio:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful communication toward other participants

  • Promotion or solicitation of products, services, or outside programs without permission

  • Sharing confidential information, private discussions, or personal details shared by other members within the community

  • Disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning experience of others

Emily Jeffords Studio reserves the right to remove participants from a program or community space at its sole discretion if these guidelines are violated. In such cases, removal from the program does not entitle the participant to a refund.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Visiting EmilyJeffordsLearn.com, EmilyJeffords.com, or sending emails to Emily Jeffords Studio or Emily Jeffords Learn constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

CHILDREN UNDER THIRTEEN

Emily Jeffords Studio does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use EmilyJeffordsLearn.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES/ SERVICES

EmilyJeffordsLearn.com may contain links to other websites ("Linked Sites"). The Linked Sites are not under the control of Emily Jeffords Studio and Emily Jeffords is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. Emily Jeffords Studio is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Emily Jeffords Studio of the site or any association with its operators.

Certain services made available via EmilyJeffordsLearn.com are delivered by third party sites and organizations. By using any product, service or functionality originating from the EmilyJeffordsLeaen.com, you hereby acknowledge and consent that Emily Jeffords Studio may share such information and data with any third party with whom Emily Jeffords Studio has a contractual relationship to provide the requested product, service or functionality on behalf of EmilyJeffords.com users and customers.

NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE/ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use EmilyJeffordsLearn.com strictly in accordance with these terms of use. As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant to Emily Jeffords Studio that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not use the Site in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Emily Jeffords Studio or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Site. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site.

All content included as part of the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof is the property of Emily Jeffords Studio and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.

You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. Emily Jeffords Studio content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use, and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Emily Jeffords Studio and the copyright owner. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. We do not grant you any licenses, express or implied, to the intellectual property of Emily Jeffords Studio or our licensors except as expressly authorized by these Terms.

INTERNATIONAL USERS

The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Emily Jeffords Studio from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Emily Jeffords Studio Content accessed through EmilyJeffords.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED IN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. EMILY JEFFORDS STUDIO AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES IN THE SITE AT ANY TIME.

TERMINATION/ ACCESS RESTRICTION

Emily Jeffords Studio reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in South Carolina in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Emily Jeffords Studio as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Emily Jeffords Studio's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Emily Jeffords Studio's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Emily Jeffords Studio with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Emily Jeffords Studio with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Emily Jeffords Studio with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.

CHANGES TO TERM

Emily Jeffords Studio reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which EmilyJeffords.com is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Emily Jeffords Studio encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
